Reiki Master & Reiki Teacher, ARCB Certified Reflexologist
Laurie Friedli, RN COHN-S, began Reiki training in 1997
and became a Reiki Master in 1998. She completed the Reflexology Certification Program at the Omega
Institute in 1998. Laurie then went on to become ARCB Board Certified Reflexologist in May of 1999. Laurie has also been a
Registered Nurse since 1975 at Saint Francis
Hospital, specializing in Occupational
Health.
Laurie's
training in Reiki and Reflexology, and other complementary therapies, have
continued. Her most recent studies were in Shamanic Reiki
at the Omega Institute, and in Reflexology for Cancer
Patients, at NYC's Memorial Sloan Kettering in
2008.
In addition to
her private practice, Laurie provides Reiki and Reflexology for patients in the
ICC, CCU, PCU, Pre-Operative, Rehab Units and the Recovery Room. Her
hospital Reiki and Reflexology practice centers on relaxation and symptom control of Cancer patients. She has also coordinated,
and participated in, many Health Fairs in Dutchess County.
Laurie lives in
Staastburg, NY with her husband and two cats. She has two grown daughters
and two grand-daughters. She loves spending time with her
family and friends, doing yoga, hiking,
gardening, kayaking, and traveling.

Reiki and Reflexology Teacher
Laurie Friedli
began teaching each of the three levels of Reiki, and Intro to Reflexology in
1998. She currently teaches these classes with fellow Reiki Master and Reflexologist Scott
Way www.scottway.com. Laurie enjoys teaching, and learning from the students in
class.
Laurie and
Scott hold a Reiki Exchange Group the first
Tuesday of each month at the Cunneen-Hackett Arts
Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
